New York, NY (September 16, 2015) — Crowdtap, the People-Powered Marketing Platform, today announced the appointment of Justin Squezello to Chief Financial Officer. Squezello is a veteran financial executive in the digital media space, with more than 15 years of experience at About.com, IAC/InterActiveCorp and Ziff Davis Media.
As CFO, Squezello will lead the finance and accounting teams to support the rapid growth and scale of the business and partner across the company to further propel profitable revenue growth.
"Justin's track record at innovative, high-growth companies speaks for itself, and he will be a tremendous asset to our management team during Crowdtap's current phase of growth and maturation," said Sean Foster, CEO of Crowdtap. "We're excited to welcome him aboard as the marketing industry moves toward a more people-powered future."
Squezello has built his career at a range of digital companies, where he successfully scaled profitable revenue growth with his expertise in analytics and ability to leverage data to identify key drivers of a business model. From an operational standpoint, he has built and restructured back office functions and established reporting systems across rapidly growing organizations of varying sizes — from large businesses and public conglomerates to small-to-medium sized venture-backed businesses.
"Joining Crowdtap presents me with a unique opportunity to be at the bleeding edge of the very industry I built my career in," Squezello said. "I am thrilled to join this company and firmly believe in Crowdtap's vision of a more direct — and balanced — relationship between brands and people."
The announcement follows a period of rapid growth for Crowdtap, which helps large organizations open up their brands to the voice of the consumer by accelerating customer feedback and activating content and conversations at-scale. Crowdtap was recently named to the Inc. 5000 — which charts the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. — for the second straight year, behind 870 percent three-year revenue growth.
Earlier this year, Crowdtap expanded its management team with the appointments of Adam Cricchio, Chief Creative Officer; Mindy Davis; SVP of Professional Services; and Peter Storck, SVP of Research & Analytics.
